Suitable from birth up to 105cm, the Recaro Salia Car Seat is an i-Size seat from Recaro and it’s easy to see the time and care they’ve taken to develop it. Offering extended rear-facing and 360° rotation as well as other great features, this seat is super safe and has that great Recaro styling. The Salia comes with a newborn inlay for when they are very tiny, giving them a flat and ergonomic place to lie whilst still keeping them safe. The covers of this inlay are washable, as are the rest of the covers, so are easy to clean in case your little one gets them dirty. The headrest on the seat is height adjustable; this is part of the HERO harness system. The shoulder pads, shoulder straps and headrest are all one unit so as you lift the headrest the straps move with it, not only ensuring the straps are always at the correct height but stops them from slipping and twisting too. There is memory foam in the headrest too, this absorbs forces in case of a crash, reducing the injury to your little one. The belt tongues on the straps are also coated, which reduces how hot they get when left in the sun and therefore, reduces the change of burning your babies sensitive skin. Built into the seat is an air ventilation system; this passive system makes sitting in the seat more comfortable, especially on a long journey. The foam in the seat adapts to your little ones shape giving them a high level of comfort. The seat is fixed into the car using Isofix connectors and a support leg. This makes it really easy to install and there are 4 indicators on the top of the leg to let you know you have everything installed correctly – great for peace of mind.
